Battery Failure - If the batteries are not new or installed correctly, you may need to replace.  

Use new, alkaline batteries, install in compartment and securely install & connect in trap.  

If you get the same results, please call Dedicated Customer Support.

Battery compartment is not properly connected.  

Disconnect the Battery Compartment. Check the wire connection to the compartment. Re-connect the compartment to the trap.  

If the trap still does not work try new batteries. For additional help, please call Dedicated Customer Support.  

Power Head Failure - Independence upper assembly.  

If you have new, 4 "C" alkaline batteries and the trap will still not start then there may be a problem with the power head.
